Our Story...

Her Story

Honestly, I couldn't quite remember the details of our first encounter.

I was seated near the front door in our previous workplace and probably am the person to open the door for him on his interview day. I think?

Thinking back, he didn't make any strong impression in my mind and we stayed acquainted for more than a year. He didn't try to know me better, neither did I. Some things that i do recall about him then:  He's always late for work and walks into office like a storm and i vaguely remember dancing with him during our company's holiday retreat.

So here's the main story: One day, a mutual colleague of ours decided to lunch in and we decided to have it together at the pantry. He was there and we started talking. My flying thought then was that "He's not as unfriendly as I thought, pretty hilarious in fact.."

We started talking more often at work through MSN, during lunch and after work while walked out of office. He would share his problems with me and I would lend him my ears. If both of us have to work late, we would head over to have dinner before going home. He needed some help with a business idea and I  lend him my help..

One thing leads to another, I'm starting to enjoy his company. I laughed at his jokes, he laughed at mine..  A few months after, he held my hand for the first time while we were shopping. I didn't say no, he held it tighter.. I think he was afraid i would change my mind..

10 months later, he proposed and I said yes. I knew he would be the right one for me because we have went though all good and wicked emotions together and we are still intact. I never had to be another person when i'm around him and he accepts the good and bad of me. ( I have the most terrorizing temper ever known to earthlings..) He's my best friend and that is all that is required...

His Story

How did it all started?

That is a question that have been baffling me for quite some time.

Did it all started when I noticed this cheerful, sweet but loud girl jumping all around the office? What about the time during our company retreat? The times we had lunch together as a group with other colleagues? Or was it the time when we both overtime in the office and I invited her out for dinner after?

These are questions that can't be answered but no matter when it started, I'm glad it started. Before I met her, I can never hold a conversation with the opposite sex for more than 5 minutes. No matter who I talked to, the result was always the same. We will go into awkward silence within the first 5 minutes.

However, ever since I met her, we've never stopped talking. The best part is we are completing each other sentences. It made me realize that I've found the right girl for me. Every moment spend with her has been filled with laughter, happiness, fun and of course the unavoidable occasional anger.

I will be lying if I say we did not quarrel. I will also be lying if I say she did not throw her tantrums (privilege of being a girl) and I am not occasionally frustrated by her tantrums.

However, its the laughter, happiness and anger that brought us closer together as a couple. To me, she's this perfect little angel who is always there for me, supporting me all the way. I've made a promise to her to look after her for the rest of her life. I've also promise to bring her traveling as and when money and time permits. These are all promises I intend to keep. As the last phase in the vow states "Till death do us part", I'm confident that nothing except death can separate us.
